How Does Censorship Work?


Government maintains national firewall.  
Blocking based on: DNS name, IP address, etc.
China: Western news sites, even mit.edu!
Even without blocking, may just log and punish troublemakers.

But some Web access is permitted!
...how can we exploit this access to "open up" the Web?

Circumvent censor via innocent-looking Web activity!
Clients and servers should be undetectable.
