11/25/01. Project & plans.
- We'll hand out comments on the interim report in class tomorrow. If we already sent you email, then you may not get anything back.
- Project talks are on the 6th and 7th of December in NE43-516. We'll have signup sheets ready soon and send out a note.
- Because of the talk dates, I've decided to cancel class on the 5th. We'll cover that material on the 10th.

10/14/01. Quiz 2, no final! Quiz 2 will be held on the final day of classes, 12/12/01. There will be NO FINAL. This also means that the final papers are due only later, by 12/17/01, 12 noon, to NE43-510. The official schedule will be updated to reflect all this in the next few days.
10/14/01. Proposal comments. We'll hand out comments on project proposals in class tomorrow. One person in each team should remember to pick it up. In some cases, we've already emailed you.
10/14/01. Competition info. If you're participating in the competition, one member per group should please email Dave (dga) asap, so he can set up a competition email list for competition-related announcements.

10/14/01. Classification... Not! We won't cover the packet classification paper in class (nor will it be on the quizzes) because we're trying to do too much! (It's a nice paper to read, though.)
10/12/01. PS2 extension. PS2 should be handed in by 5pm Thursday, October 18 2001. Leave it in Hari's box if he's not in, or give it to Dave or Xiaowei.
10/12/01. Quiz 1 on 10/22/01. In class (1-190) from 9.30-11am.
10/12/01. Make-up for Quiz 1. On Friday 10/19/01 from 10.30-12.00 noon on the 5th floor of LCS (NE-43).
9/26/01. PS2 assigned. Due 10/15/01 in class.

- 6.829 COMPETITION! Information for the 6.829 competition is now available. The winning team (as adjudged by the course staff) will be given a surprise prize.
- Project proposals are due by 5pm on 9/27/01 (Thursday) in NE43-510.

9/14/01. PS1 EXTENSION: Problem Set 1 is due on September 26 in class, not September 24.
9/10/01. CLASS LOCATION & TIME: Class has been moved to a new time, 9:30-11:00 MW, in a new room, 1-190. Sorry for the earlier hour, but this room is large enough to hold everyone.
9/10/01. Problem set 1: PS1 is now available. It is due in class on Monday, September 24 2001.
9/6/01. We're working on finding a larger room. As soon as we hear back, the new location will be posted on this page.
9/6/01. Class mailing list:We're trying out the new automatically-generated class lists from the Registrar's data, rather than painstakingly populating the list ourselves. This data will be updated each night to reflect the students currently registered for the class; it should be available beginning the Monday after Registration Day. More details are available here. Until then (and even after!), check this Web page for updates.
